A multi-use park with multi-use trails and glacial lakes. Trails range from a flat paved surface to more rugged paths.

The park was established in 1914 as New Jersey's first state park.  Glaciers formed its two lakes thousands of years ago.  The park offers camping, swimming, boating, and fishing in addition to hiking trails.
