Park Overview
A former farm now an outdoor education center.
Trail Overview
Approximately 6 miles of trails, from easy and handicapped accessible to moderate, explore the site. These include four designated Discovery Quest Trails, each of which focuses on a different ecological niche: Pond Quest Trail, Field Quest Trail, Woodland Quest Trail, and Highlands Quest Trail. Guide books, for sale at a modest fee at the visitors center, show a map of the trails and offer information about the natural and human history to be seen along the trails.
Since the museum aims to introduce visitors to trail experiences, trail blazes and markings are clear, colorful and, on the easiest trail, further indicated with flags.
Park Description
This privately run, not-for-profit open space covers 177 acres of the former Kenridge Farm, a dairy and horse farm that was a showcase of the early 20th century. It features ponds and wetlands, meadows, and woods. Programs, exhibits, and trails focus on introducing children and adults to the outdoors.
